Participant Information
Iowa State University is committed to protecting the rights, safety, and well-being of participants in research projects. Iowa State research adheres to the ethical principles described in The Belmont Report—Autonomy, Beneficience, and Justice. It also complies with federal regulations governing human subjects research. These regulations require review and approval of research by an Institutional Review Board (IRB) to make sure researchers follow ethical guidelines and federal regulations.
Research participation is voluntary. The choice of whether to participate is up to you. The research team will provide information about the study to help you make an informed decision.
