Iowa State University’s Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) is required to have a current registration on file with the NIH Office of Biotechnology Activities (OBA). IBCs are considered key partners in OBA’s efforts to ensure that institutions and their research personnel use procedures and practices that conform to the NIH Guidelines.
